Your heel should fit snug with no slipping. The midfoot of the shoe under your arch and over the top of your foot should be snug but not tight. You should have enough room in the toe box to wiggle your toes. Our shoes are made to fit directly out of the box. They do not need to be broken in.
-
People are more than twice as likely to buy a shoe that is too small than too big. Clues that your shoes are too small or narrow include - foot cramping or "falling asleep" or the formation of blisters and calluses between or on your toes.
-
Feet typically get bigger with age. We encourage you to have your feet measured every year. Women's feet often become a half-size (or more) larger after pregnancy.
-
Your left and right feet may differ in length or width as much as a full size. Be sure to measure and try shoes on both feet, and always buy shoes to fit your larger foot.
-
While the incremental enlargement/reductions between the sizes and widths are industry standards – not every manufacturer starts with the same measurement for their model size.
-
Rockport and Cobb Hill use the same Brannock Device measurement along with several taped forefoot volume measurements as a starting point for both men’s and women’s shoes.
READY, SET, COMFORT
Zero break-in time. Consistent support. Round-the-clock comfort. We’ve leveled up — way up — on how incredible all-day shoes can feel.

Comfortable shoe, but I have glued the soul back onto the upper three times since I purchased a year ago. For a $120 pair of shoes, that’s pretty unacceptable.
Comfortable
Quality Product
Rockports wear like iron
My old shoes were the same model, and lasted more than 20 years. Not bad for a daily work shoe.of course I would replace them with the same. They will probably outlast me.
Comfort and casual
Since 1997 Rockport has been my go to comfort and casual shoe. They’re lightweight, stylish and attention grabbers. Your shoes represents mental impressions.
Great shoes
Good looking all around basic men’s shoe. Great fit and comfortable.
Just a solid shoe
I have been buying this show for over the past dozen years. I am a teacher and these shoes are the most comfortable shoe to wear if you have to be on your feet all day.
Great shoes
Have bought these shoes over and over. Quality fit and last several years.
Repeat buyer
This is my second pair of 11W and they fit perfectly. I bought my first pair over 10 years and used them exclusively on the cobble stone streets in Europe. I just wore them out and will always have a pair.
Very comfortable!
Happy Customer and repeat buyer
I have bought 5 pair of Rockport shoes of various styles on line. The fit is perfect, the shoes are comfortable and of high quality. All my orders were delivered on the date promised. I will no longer wear any other brand of shoe.
Generations of Rockport Pro-Walkers.
Started using Rockport 7100's in 1989. Just switched to these new ones in a size wider at age 82. Wow! What a great fit - super comfortable!
I've been buying this type of shoes for over 20 years
quick and easy ordering, and returning
The Rockports are first "walker". Initially my feet had to become accustomed to the new feel under my feet. Now that I have a few miles on them, they feel great.
Excellent
I've worn Rockports in the past with good experience. Durable, comfortable and great for walking / standing.
