Our seam sealed technology incorporates advanced waterproofing materials and processes to help keep feet dry. We start with waterproof leathers that are sealed during the tanning process, and then we seam-seal the footwear for additional protection. Partially gusseted tongues and zippers treated with durable water-resistant coatings further deter water entry. In products that have areas of textile, the footwear is only waterproof up to the point where leather is used.

Comfortable, almost perfect boot -- but squeaky
I bought these at a small family shop in our small town based on the owners recommendation. These boots are comfortable and waterproof as advertised. Unfortunately, my only issue is a big one: The boots squeak every time I take a step. Noisy and frankly, embarrassing when everyone can hear you coming and look. Also, the squeakiness didn't show up until after about a month of break in so I couldn't take them back to exchange them, so I'm stuck with them. Other than that, very happy with the boot, I just don't wear them as often if I'm going to be in public, sadly.
Exactly what my husband wanted
Replacing another pair of the same shoe. Original lasted years. These fit the same and appear to be the same high quality.

No open tongue
No open tongue makes it very hard to put your feet inside the boot.

Just received my #8000 in dark brown...... WOW! what a nice fit and comfort! I have looked high and low for almost a year for a pair of boots in a size 14 4 XW..... I have 8 pair of shoes and these boots right out of the box are lightweight, nice looking,
